James has an extensive professional experience in business services and taxation, focusing on client consulting and advisory work. Previously a Partner at Deloitte, James joined Watson and Hegarty in November 2017, where James directly supervises staff and manages a diverse client base.

His comprehensive knowledge of taxation and accounting issues, paired with limited experience in audit and corporate recovery, positions me as an effective advisor for small to medium-sized businesses. Rather than being confined to a specific taxation area, he possesses a solid understanding of various taxation matters relevant to those businesses.

The nature of his clientele and the wide-ranging services he provides necessitate not only a thorough understanding of their businesses but also an awareness of emerging industry trends.

He is proficient in all MYOB and Xero accounting products, and his qualifications as a CA and MYOB certified consultant equip him to deliver a complete accounting solution. Additionally, he possesses a good understanding of other computerised accounting systems, along with skills in software and hardware installations and maintenance. This enables him to provide clients with comprehensive support, ensuring they have the tools and resources necessary for their business operations.
